Accountant #1043391Job Description:Journal Entries and ReconciliationPrepare journal entries with detailed support in accordance with GAAP and IFRS.Prepare reconciliations; review account balances critically to assess their validity and ensure correct accounting treatment.Month-end Close ProcessAssist in general ledger closing activities, including the Oracle close process.Prepare journal entries prior to the close to ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and company policies.Review non-recurring journal entries to determine their appropriate classification.Knowledge/Skill Requirements Ability to apply professional guidance, such as GAAP and IFRS, and adhere to company policies and procedures to resolve various issues.Possess an analytical mindset and the ability to identify areas of improvement and proactively resolve issues.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables), Word, and the use of ERP system.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and collaborate as a team player.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude towards interacting with colleagues at all levels.Able to work independently and effectively communicate with all finance and accounting staff and other stakeholders.Education/Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.Big 4 experience preferredOracle experience preferredAdditional Information: At FastTek Global, Our Purpose is Our People and Our Planet.
