Description
Duties:
- This role is open to working at Our Service Centers other than Royal Oak.
- The role is remote, but workers must be available to visit Our Service Centers as needed.
- Enter gas service record information into GIS systems from field redlined design drawings and work order information from the SAP Work Management System.
- Verify quality and accuracy of gas services in GIS and SAP Work Management System, and update GIS data and attributes when necessary.
- Check specifications on graphic design and data fields associated with service designs and work with team and customers to resolve problems to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Correct data attributes and asset locations for gas distribution as the need arises.
- Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within GIS (ESRI ArcGIS), Utilities, or Gas field.
- Has knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and other commonly used tools.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Ability to work in virtual/remote work environment.
- Attitude and aptitude to learn new skills and perform new responsibilities.
- SAP or general Work Management System experience.
- Strong customer service background, and some work experience in utilities gas service records and/or engineering work.
- High School diploma or equivalent
