Field technician/analyst to oversee environmental compliance and construction at coal combustion residuals (CCR) landfills in the state of MI. Landfills are located near Muskegon, Holland, Bay City, and Monroe, MI. Two landfills are still open and operating, the others are closed, but have a 30-year post closure monitoring period. This position will oversee and ensure our contracted entities are completing compliance obligations related to maintenance, monitoring, inspections, surveying, and other engineering support. Additionally, this position will be expected to develop and maintain records, and support report development. At active landfills, oversight of closure work and new cell construction may be required, and reporting progress to the Landfill Program Manager. The candidate will also assist in quality assurance by auditing the activities of our 3rd party Engineer as they complete inspections, surveying, sampling, testing, etc. and reporting in a format acceptable to the agency having jurisdiction.

Skills
- Candidate must be able to read and interpret civil and environmental drawings and related construction documents.
- Strong oral and written communication skills are required. Candidate must be able to prioritize and deal with multiple activities on a daily basis.
- High School diploma required, an Associate degree in a Technical/Construction field is a plus.
- Prefer 3 - 5 years relevant experience in a similar role.
