Sign Installation Specialist (Contract Position – Stillwater, OK)
FASTSIGNS – Westerville, OH (Contract Work in Stillwater)
FASTSIGNS Westerville is looking to partner with a Skilled Sign Installer / General Contractor to support a major installation project in Stillwater, OK.
This is a contract role, not a W-2 employee position. You will work 100% locally in Stillwater on signage installation work inside and around a commercial data center.
This project is expected to run for 3–4 months with consistent weekly installation work.
Additional work may follow based on performance and future project needs.
While occasional travel for training or future multi-state installations may be available, routine travel is not required.
What You'll Do
- Install commercial signage including:
ADA signs, dimensional letters, wall signs, window/door graphics, wall murals, post & panel signs, banners, and more.
- Read and interpret installation packets, layouts, and accurate measurements.
- Safely use power tools, ladders, lifts, anchors, and mounting hardware.
- Complete installation prep such as drilling, leveling, mounting, and structural support work.
- Provide photo documentation, communicate with our project manager, and follow install standards.
- Work independently for day-to-day tasks and in coordination with our lead installer during scheduled on-site visits.
Ideal Qualifications
- Proven experience installing signs or strong background in carpentry, construction, facility maintenance, or general contracting.
- Comfortable working at heights (ladders, lifts, rooftops).
- Proficient with standard hand and power tools.
- Physically capable of lifting, mounting, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed install plans.
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Channel letter or electrical signage experience
- Scissor lift or bucket truck operation
- Vinyl installation or vehicle wrap experience
- 3M installation certification
