Graphic Designer & Production Specialist (Full-Time)

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile full-time Graphic Designer & Production Specialist to join our brand-new FASTSIGNS center. This role is essential in helping us build our business from the ground up in a fast-paced, start-up environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, energetic, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities on-site, contributing to both creative design and production processes. As part of our team, you will play a key role in creating impactful visual communications and ensuring high-quality production standards to meet client needs.

Duties

• Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and develop creative design concepts that align with branding guidelines.
• Design a variety of visual materials including signage, banners, displays, and other marketing collateral using industry-standard software.
• Prepare digital files for production, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications for printing or fabrication.
• Operate and maintain production equipment such as printers, cutters, and other signage fabrication tools to produce high-quality signage products.
• Manage the entire production process from design to final installation, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
• Assist in setting up and installing signage at client locations as needed.
• Maintain an organized workspace and ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new design techniques, and production technologies to continuously improve skills and output quality.
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment by supporting other staff members during busy periods or special projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in graphic design, preferably within the signage or print industry.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or similar design software.
• Strong understanding of print production processes and file preparation for various printing methods.
• Experience operating signage production equipment such as large-format printers, cutters, or laminators is highly desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
• Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a start-up setting.

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
