Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sign Installation Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various types of signage across multiple locations. Your expertise in electrical diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and ability to interpret technical drawings will ensure that all signs are installed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities
- Install new signage by interpreting schematics and technical drawings, ensuring precise placement and alignment.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to sign lighting, wiring, and power supplies.
- Use heavy equipment mechanics skills to operate lifts, cranes, or other machinery required for high or large-scale installations.
- Perform routine maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) on signage systems to ensure longevity and optimal performance.
- Read and interpret technical schematics and drawings accurately to guide installation procedures.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters for electrical testing and diagnostics during installation or repair processes.
- Maintain detailed records of installation activities, repairs, inspections, and safety checks in compliance with company standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in electrical diagnostics with a strong understanding of electrical systems used in signage or similar applications.
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment mechanics or general machinery maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with installation, repair, or maintenance of signs or related structures.
- Familiarity with interpreting schematics, technical drawings, and blueprints for complex projects.
- Technical proficiency with tools such as ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment.
- Experience working with MRO processes to ensure ongoing operational efficiency of signage systems.
- Ability to work safely at heights using appropriate safety equipment and adhere to all safety protocols.
