What You'll Do
- Serve as a first point of contact for walk-in, phone, and email customers, determining sign and graphics needs and providing recommendations and quotes
- Prepare estimates, process work orders, and coordinate with production to ensure timely delivery
- Proactively prospect for new business through outbound calls, networking, referrals, and local market outreach
- Travel to job sites, businesses, and prospect locations for site surveys and in-person sales meetings (no overnight travel required)
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with current customers to drive repeat and referral business
- Conduct consultative sales conversations to recommend the right signage and graphics solutions
- Create special orders, negotiate pricing, and close sales promptly
- Maintain accurate records in our CRM/point-of-sale system, including contacts, quotes, and follow-ups
- Participate in daily team huddles and contribute to center-wide sales goals
- Help maintain an attractive, organized retail/showroom environment
- 1 to 3 years of sales experience inside sales, outside/B2B sales, or retail/customer-facing sales
- Prior experience working in signs or related industry is highly proffered
- Comfortable both on the phone/in-person at the counter and out prospecting in the field
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own schedule between center and field responsibilities
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office, email, CRM/POS systems)
- High school diploma or GED required; college preferred
