Tired of late-night retail closing shifts or unpredictable weekend restaurant hours? Looking for a job that pays better, works around your class schedule, and gives you real-world, hands-on experience?
FASTSIGNS® Baymeadows is looking for a Part-Time Production Specialist. Whether you are a local college student (UNF, FSCJ, JU) needing a flexible daytime job or just someone looking for consistent part-time work without the weekend hassle, this role might be the perfect fit.
As a Production Specialist, you play a vital role in our manufacturing process. You will help bring our clients' visions to life by printing, cutting, assembling, and finishing high-quality signs and graphics.
What You’ll Do:
- Produce & Assemble: Learn to operate wide-format printers, vinyl plotters, and laminators. Weed, tape, and apply vinyl graphics to a variety of materials.
- Ensure Quality: Inspect signs, banners, and graphics to ensure they meet strict standards for color, precise sizing, and flawless finishing.
- Manage Workflow: Keep production moving efficiently and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Build Your Resume: This role offers significant growth opportunities. You will learn specialized manufacturing skill sets, graphic production, and real-world business operations.
Requirements:
- Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for quality, precise measurements, and accuracy is critical.
- Technical Aptitude: Must be comfortable learning and operating production equipment and software.
- Physical Ability: Must be capable of standing for extended periods, working dynamically with your hands, and lifting materials safely (up to 50 lbs).
- Dependability: Strong work ethic and reliability are a must. No prior sign industry experience is required—if you have strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn, we will train you.
