Role Description The Transportation Recruiter (CDL & Non-CDL) is a full-time, on-site role based in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. In this position, the recruiter sources, screens, and interviews CDL and non-CDL driver candidates using job boards, social media, referrals, and other recruiting channels. The role includes coordinating background checks, verifying qualifications and licenses, and ensuring candidates meet compliance and safety standards. The recruiter collaborates with operations and client-facing teams to understand staffing needs, schedule interviews, and manage the onboarding process. Daily responsibilities also involve maintaining candidate pipelines, updating applicant tracking systems, communicating with candidates throughout the hiring process, and supporting retention initiatives through consistent follow-up and relationship-building.

Qualifications
- Experience in recruiting for transportation, logistics, or related industries, including sourcing CDL and non-CDL driver candidates.
- Strong interviewing, candidate assessment, and screening skills, with attention to safety, compliance, and qualification verification.
- Proficiency using applicant tracking systems, job boards, and digital recruiting tools; comfortable with basic office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, word processing).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates, clients, and internal teams.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple open roles, prioritize tasks, and meet hiring deadlines.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation industry standards is highly beneficial.
- Previous experience in staffing, human resources, or transportation operations is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or HR/recruiting certifications are a plus.
