Job Summary
The Customer Service Representative will be one of the first points of contact for our customers. This person will assist with incoming calls, emails, order questions, account support, and general customer needs. The ideal candidate is professional, patient, detail-oriented, and able to keep things moving even when the day gets busy.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer emails in a professional and helpful manner
- Assist customers with placing orders, checking order status, and resolving basic issues
- Enter and update customer information accurately in company systems
- Communicate with production, sales, shipping, or management teams to help resolve customer needs
- Follow up with customers when additional information or updates are needed
- Help identify order errors, missing information, or potential service issues before they become bigger problems
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude with customers and coworkers
- Support general office and administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Comfortable using computers and customer management software
- Excellent phone and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of active listening techniques
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize projects and manage time effectively
- Previous customer service, office, call center, or administrative experience preferred
- Comfortable using computers, email, web-based systems, and basic office software
- Good attention to detail and ability to enter information accurately
- Ability to stay calm and professional when helping frustrated or confused customers
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Willingness to learn company products, services, and procedures
