What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vice President of Marketing and Technology position at Fastline Marketing Group?
Fastline Marketing Group is the innovative consumer resource and marketing partner of choice for the agricultural community. We are currently searching for a highly creative person that is motivated by both challenges and success. Fastline is the digital marketing leader within the agricultural equipment space, and we are looking to expand and grow within other marketing verticals and the online equipment auction industry.
The VP of Marketing & Technology will lead a team of digital subject matter experts and develop marketing and advertising strategies and initiatives for communication with customers, prospects, and internal employees. The VP of Marketing & Technology will also lead our project driven IT team that consists of programmers and system administrators. This role will also establish best practices and campaigns based on company initiatives and goals and supports the marketing team to execute them through coordinating marketing initiatives, designing marketing research projects and analyzing results.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute an integrated strategy that aligns brand growth, digital transformation, and revenue goals.
- Establish a 1–2-year roadmap connecting marketing initiatives with technology infrastructure and product capabilities.
- Increase qualified leads, conversions, and customer lifetime value through data-driven marketing and digital innovation.
- Grow website traffic, auction bidder engagement, and lead generation through SEO, paid digital media, and content strategy.
- Improve ROI on internal & customer campaigns through advanced analytics, attribution modeling, and automation.
- Elevate brand recognition and consistency across all channels.
- Lead development of new digital tools, CRM enhancements, or AI-driven efficiencies such as chat systems or improved user flow.
- Lead customer and consumer research to refine market segmentation and value propositions.
- Improves alignment between marketing, IT, sales, and product teams.
- Drive initiatives that streamline workflows and improve information flows.
- Build a unified data architecture that supports real-time insights across the company.
- Directs marketing team on creation of advertising and sales collateral materials and resources.
- Oversees digital product team on the development of email, social media, PPC, SEO, digital and traditional print campaigns.
- Reduce system vulnerabilities and ensure continuity planning.
- Maintain compliance with data protection standards.
- Support sales team on sales calls, presentation and advertising strategy development.
- Travel with President and sales associates to visit customers and prospects as well as attending trade shows.
- Gathers, analyzes, and compares competitor data.
- Recruits and develop high-performing marketing and technology teams.
- Reports to the President.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field
- 10 years of progressive leadership experience in marketing, technology, or digital transformation.
- 5 years in senior management.
- Experience in agriculture industry a plus.
- Superior attitude, work ethic, and communications skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and people.
