Summary:
Fastech Precision is seeking a skilled and versatile Machinist/CNC Operator to join our dynamic machine shop team. If you thrive in a hands-on environment and have experience operating a wide range of CNC and manual machinery, we want to hear from you. This role involves performing essential daily tasks to support our precision manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC machinery, including but not limited to mills, press brakes, waterjets, lathes, shears, drills, and taps.
- Perform cutting, assembly, finishing, engraving, and other machine shop duties.
- Drive forklifts and operate heavy machinery/equipment as needed.
- Utilize general shop tools for tasks such as cutting, bending, forming, drilling, welding, assembling, coating, painting, and additional related activities.
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols in all operations.
- Assist with general shop maintenance and other duties as assigned to support efficient workflow.
- Read technical drawings and blueprints, understand GD&T and accurately measure parts using precision instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a machinist in a shop environment.
- Positive attitude
- Proficiency with CNC programming and operation.
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication and assembly processes.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment, including forklifts (certification preferred).
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of Fusion360 or SolidWorks is a plus
- Aerospace manufacturing experience is a plus
- Technical training or certification in machining is a plus.

Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $18.00-$26.00 hourly. The expected weekly commitment is 40 hours per week.
