Job Overview:
We are seeking 1–2 reliable and experienced Driver/Movers to join our team as independent contractors (1099). This role involves operating a 15 ft box truck and performing moving/labor duties, including handling and securing furniture and fragile items with care.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 15 ft box truck for local routes
- Load and unload furniture and other items, including heavy lifting
- Properly secure items using tie-downs, blanket wrapping, and shrink wrap to prevent damage
- Handle fragile and valuable items with care
- Follow job instructions and complete work efficiently
Requirements:
- Prior experience in moving, delivery, or similar labor-intensive work
- Comfortable driving a box truck
- Ability to lift heavy items consistently
- Knowledge of proper packing and securing techniques (tie-downs, padding, shrink wrap, etc.)
- Clean background
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
Work Details:
- 1099 independent contractor position (no payroll, not hourly)
- Flat daily pay ranging from $80–$250, depending on job scope and duration
- Company vehicle provided
- Flexible schedule — workload may vary (slow weeks and busy weeks)
- Service area: Ventura County to San Clemente
- Dispatch location: South El Monte (local candidates preferred)
