This is a full-time, weekday role that supports a busy outpatient surgical practice with occasional OR case support. You'll work in a fast-paced environment that values precision, independence, and patient care.Position Overview:You'll be responsible for performing a wide range of ultrasound examinationsincluding procedural and surgical supportwithin a high-volume outpatient urology setting. Your role includes preparing patients, setting up sterile equipment, and capturing high-quality diagnostic images independently. Familiarity with hospital systems, PACS, and portable imaging devices is required.Schedule:Monday through FridayShift times vary between 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM, and 8:00 AM and 4:30 PMFlexibility to work outside regular hours for surgical case supportKey Responsibilities:Conduct ultrasound studies in-office and in surgical environmentsOperate portable imaging equipmentAdhere to sterile techniques and prepare sterile traysAccurately document and transmit diagnostic images using PACSFollow departmental protocols and ensure patient safetyQualifications:Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Sonography Technology programRegistered Sonographer through ARRT(S) or ARDMS (or eligible within 2 years)CPR certification3 years of experience as a diagnostic sonographer preferredExperience in urological ultrasound studies strongly preferredPreferred Skills:Strong understanding of sterile technique in procedural settingsAbility to work independently and manage a busy caseloadPhysical ability to lift/move patients and equipmentComfort working in high-stress, fast-paced clinical environments
