Day Shift 545am-6pm
Night Shift 545pm-6am
Job Title: EMS Dispatcher
Minimum Qualifications:
- EMT Certification and/or EMS Dispatching experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, supplemented by college-level coursework.
- Preferred: At least 1 year of prior dispatching experience, ideally in Dispatching, Call Taking, Communications, or Emergency Medical Services.
Primary Function:
- Perform intake, prioritization, and dispatch of incoming calls for both emergent and non-emergent situations.
- Under indirect supervision, ensure timely and accurate placement of resources to meet the needs of each call.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Valid & current CPR card (Can be completed upon hire)
- Annual TB clearance
- Valid & current Driver’s License
- In good standing with State Office of EMS
- Certification as EMT preferred but not required.
