Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct developmental services to a diverse caseload of children under 3, assessing motor, communication, cognitive, social/emotional, and self-help skills.
  • Conduct comprehensive developmental assessments using standardized tools and methodologies.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed documentation and case records, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in team meetings to develop and implement individualized service plans.
  • Serve as a liaison between families and community resources, supporting informed decision-making and service coordination.
  • Support family engagement and provide guidance on early childhood development best practices.
  • Conduct periodic reviews, annual evaluations, and service plan updates to track progress.
  • Engage in professional development activities, training, and regional or professional groups to stay current with best practices.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational goals.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Experience or training working with children from birth to age three, with knowledge of evidence-based early intervention strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with families, colleagues, and community partners.
  • Organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel regionally, including to family homes and community settings.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
  • Ability to pass background checks and health screenings.
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying work environments and weather conditions.


Work Environment & Conditions:

This position involves a mix of office work, home visits, and community-based locations such as childcare centers in Claremont, NH. The role requires regional travel, physical activity including sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, and floor-level interactions, as well as occasional lifting up to 20 pounds. You will use standard office equipment and engage with children in sensory-rich environments.
