Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all bar staff to deliver outstanding customer service and efficient beverage service
- Oversee daily bar operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and cash handling using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Train team members on drink recipes, food safety protocols, POS usage, and customer service excellence
- Maintain cleanliness, food handling standards, and compliance with health regulations in the bar area
- Manage sales targets by promoting specials, upselling beverages, and engaging guests to enhance revenue
- Organize catering events, banquets, or nightclub functions to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels regularly to minimize waste and ensure availability of supplies
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on bar management or supervisory roles
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cashiering and cash handling is essential
- Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings
- Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and alcohol serving regulations
- Experience with retail math for inventory control and sales analysis; basic math skills are vital for accurate cash handling and reporting
- Knowledge of the food industry trends including brewing or beverage trends is a plus
