We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced diesel technician/mechanic to join our team. As a diesel technician/mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel vehicles and equipment such as semis and semi trailers. Your main duties will include performing inspections, conducting routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, and keeping accurate records of all work performed. We offer a competitive $25.00 - $45.00 hourly pay rate based on experience with incentive bonuses with 80 hours PTO , health, dental, vision insurance, 401K and 6.5 paid holidays.
Responsibilities:
-Diagnose and repair diesel vehicles, including semis, trailers, and heavy equipment.
-Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations.
-Conduct inspections to identify any potential issues or safety concerns.
-Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical problems.
-Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose and resolve issues.
-Keep accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and labor hours.
-Follow all safety protocols and guidlines.
Requirements:
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Ability to lift at least 75lbs.
-Previous experience as a diesel technician/mechanic.
-Strong knowledge of diesel engines, trailers and vehicle systems.
-Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
-Complete efficient and accurate work.
-Ability to uphold code of ethics.
-Valid driver's license.
