Responsibilities
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling all cash handling and cashiering duties with accuracy and integrity
- Assist customers with product inquiries, provide product demos, and suggest upselling opportunities to enhance their shopping experience
- Maintain knowledge of store products and merchandising to effectively assist customers and promote sales
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and inviting
- Support inventory management by assisting with stocking, inventory counts, and product replenishment
- Handle retail sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while ensuring proper cash drawer handling
- Deliver outstanding customer service through active listening, clear communication, and friendly assistance
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is required
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customers effectively
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, retail math, and basic math skills are advantageous
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and upselling strategies will set you up for success
