Responsibilities
- Safely operate standard passenger cars and light vehicles around the lot with precision and care
- Perform exterior washing of vehicles using appropriate cleaning equipment to maintain vehicle cleanliness and shine
- Conduct vehicle paint correction and buffing using automotive buffers to restore paint quality and enhance appearance
- Detail vehicle interiors by cleaning carpets, upholstery, dashboards, windows, and other surfaces to ensure a spotless finish
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving or positioning vehicles or equipment around the lot
- Maintain a clean and organized auto detailing facility, including proper use and storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Support the overall appearance of the lot by ensuring vehicles are properly staged and presentable for customers
Requirements
- Experience operating standard passenger cars and manual transmission vehicles confidently
- Knowledge of safe work practices when handling cleaning chemicals, buffing tools, and heavy equipment
- Familiarity with vehicle exterior washing, buffing, and paint correction techniques
- Prior auto detailing or auto wash experience preferred; janitorial or custodial experience is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during vehicle movement or equipment setup
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients or team members
- Basic understanding of automotive buffers, cleaning equipment, and detailing procedures
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record; experience driving various types of vehicles is advantageous
