Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Social Media & Media Production Manager who is equally strong in strategy, content creation, videography, editing, and team management.

This is not a typical social media coordinator position.

This person will own the complete media ecosystem at Fast Lane Drive, from planning content before events to publishing content across every platform, managing editors, coordinating with chapters, and continuously improving performance.

The ideal candidate is both a creative storyteller and a highly organized project manager.

Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Strategy

Develop and execute platform-specific strategies for:

  • Instagram
  • TikTok
  • YouTube
  • Facebook
  • LinkedIn

Every platform should have its own objectives, audience, content style, and growth strategy.




Monthly Algorithm Reports

Prepare a complete monthly report covering:

  • Instagram updates
  • TikTok trends
  • YouTube algorithm changes
  • Facebook updates
  • LinkedIn trends
  • Viral content analysis
  • Competitor research
  • Emerging opportunities
  • Recommendations for FLD

These reports will guide the company's monthly media strategy.




Content Planning

Create a comprehensive monthly content calendar that includes:

  • Corporate content
  • Chapter content
  • Event promotions
  • Event recaps
  • Sponsor deliverables
  • Educational content
  • Luxury lifestyle
  • Business content
  • Member stories
  • Charity initiatives
  • Trending content
  • Seasonal campaigns

Nothing should be posted without a strategic purpose.




Media Production Planning

Plan every major event before cameras begin rolling.

Each event should include:

  • Production schedule
  • Storyboard
  • Shot list
  • Interview schedule
  • Sponsor deliverables
  • Cars to feature
  • Members to feature
  • Lifestyle content
  • Business networking content
  • Drone footage
  • Behind-the-scenes footage
  • Thumbnail ideas
  • Short-form strategy
  • Long-form strategy

No event should ever be filmed without preparation.




Videography

This role is hands-on.

The Media Production Manager must be able to professionally capture:

  • Luxury automotive content
  • Driving footage
  • Lifestyle content
  • Interviews
  • Events
  • Drone footage (preferred)
  • Behind-the-scenes footage
  • Sponsor activations

The ability to direct shoots and capture cinematic footage is essential.




Video Editing

The ideal candidate must be proficient with professional editing software.

Responsibilities include:

  • Editing Instagram Reels
  • TikTok videos
  • YouTube Shorts
  • Long-form YouTube videos
  • Event recaps
  • Sponsor videos
  • Promotional campaigns

Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar professional software is required.

Motion graphics and color grading experience are a strong plus.




YouTube Growth

YouTube is one of FLD's highest priorities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Long-form content strategy
  • SEO optimization

  • Subscriber growth

Minimum expectation:

Four YouTube videos per week.




Content Distribution

Every piece of content should be repurposed across platforms.

  • YouTube Shorts
  • Long-form YouTube
  • Facebook content
  • LinkedIn content
  • Sponsor assets
  • Chapter assets



Content Library

Build and maintain a permanent media archive.

Organize content into categories such as:

  • Interviews
  • Entrepreneur stories
  • Car reviews
  • Lifestyle
  • Event highlights
  • Sponsors
  • Educational content
  • Behind the scenes
  • Drone footage
  • Evergreen content
  • Trending templates

Maintain at least 30 days of scheduled content at all times.




Team Leadership

Lead the entire media department.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing editors
  • Coordinating freelancers
  • Communicating with chapters
  • Holding deadlines
  • Following up on deliverables
  • Improving workflows
  • Building systems
  • Creating SOPs
  • Solving production issues
  • Driving continuous improvement

This role requires leadership—not just execution.

Every chapter should understand exactly how to contribute to FLD's media strategy.
