Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their food and beverages promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all orders are accurate and meet quality standards before serving.
- Assist servers by providing support during busy periods, including bussing tables and refilling drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including clearing dishes and resetting tables.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and maintain proper food handling practices.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, including basic cooking tasks.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing any customer inquiries or concerns promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Experience in banquet service or hotel dining environments is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Must be available 1045 to 6 pm Monday through Saturday at least 3 days a week
