Company Description
We are looking for a highly motivated, independent, organized and enthusiastic high-level, outside sales professional with industry experience to source and secure consignments for our weekly auctions.
This is a field-based, relationship-driven role focused on:
- Contractors and grading companies
- Equipment rental companies
- Cities, counties, and public works departments
- Fleet owners and operators
Your responsibility will be to bring in quality equipment for our auctions that sells.
What You'll Do
- Prospect, develop, and close new consignment accounts
- Build long-term relationships that generate repeat business
- Identify surplus, gaining, or underutilized equipment
- Work directly with ownership to grow auction volume
- Represent Fast Bid Auctions as a trusted partner in asset liquidation
- Opportunity to help shape the sales strategy for a rapidly expanding regional auction house.
What We're Looking For
- 5 years in heavy equipment, rentals, fleet, or auction sales
- Existing relationships in construction, rental, or public sector
- Strong understanding of equipment values and market demand
- Self-starter who can operate independently in the field
- Proven ability to generate revenue through outside sales
- Based in California with a deep network across all regions
- A “ready-to-go” book of business with contractors, fleet managers, or government agencies in the Western US
- Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory for site visits and relationship building
Compensation
