FashionFest Volunteers promote, advertise, and showcase clothing, footwear, and other products. They participate in photoshoots, fashion shows, commercials, trade shows, and conventions as well as pose for sculptors, artists, and painters.

Fashion & Streetwear Expo Stage Host / Emcee Volunteer

DUTIES MAY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO... Assist in loading, set up, operate and tear down of event equipment Provide an Event Hosting/Emcee experience while assisting in the logistical execution of the Conference.

Provide an awesome experience through engagement and interaction with speakers and attendees at the Conference. You will introduce the next speaker, facilitate the attendee questions, prep for the upcoming speakers, and conduct the on-stage give-away. Communicate and work with clients, vendors, event venue and event support staff in the preparation and execution of the Conference. Patiently and professionally troubleshoot issues that arise (equipment or speaker related) Assist in the cleanup of event area at the conclusion of the Conference.

Preferred: Previous experience with emceeing, announcing or hosting events Experienced and comfortable with public speaking Experienced with working with microphones

Volunteers must have excellent people and customer service skills as this position has a high level of guest and speaker contact. This position also involves a lot of walking as part of the job. Volunteers must have a good eye for detail and a strong work ethic. A valid driver's license, clean driving record and personal dependable transportation are also required. Must be over 21 yrs old.
