Warehouse Associates Needed: Independent shoes and clothing retail chain seeks an experienced receiving Warehouse Associates for its Port Chester, NY warehouse location.
Experience required in:
- computer literacy (receiving merchandise in a computer system)
- accuracy in work/attention to detail.
Experience Strongly Preferred In:
- receiving clothing/apparel, shoes, accessories, etc.

Duties:
- receiving merchandise from UPS and Fedex at the loading dock,
- checking packing lists for accuracy,
- unpacking merchandise,
- receiving merchandise in our computer system,
- putting clothing on hangers,
- steaming, tagging, and sensoring,
- packing up merchandise to be brought to the stores by our driver, etc.
- possible processing returns to vendors (RTV's) when applicable, etc.
Required:
- 2-3 years retail receiving warehouse experience. Applicants without this experience will not be considered. Warehouse clothing experience preferred.
- Computer literacy and accuracy.
- Have the ability to bend and reach, lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs.), climb stairs and ladders, etc.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- At least a high school or equivalent education.
- Be a team player, be hard working, trustworthy and come to work on time.
Hours: Full-time and part-time opportunities possible. Monday - Friday, but some Saturdays during our busy seasons and during Sidewalk Sales will be required. Possible overtime.
