Role Overview
The Senior HRBP will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, aligning HR strategies with business objectives. This role requires strong business acumen, cross-cultural communication skills, and the ability to operate in a bilingual (English and Mandarin) environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leaders to develop and execute HR strategies that support business growth and transformation
- Provide guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent management
- Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and succession planning
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a high-performance culture
- Act as a consultant on employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies
- Support change management initiatives, including restructuring, M&A, or business expansions
- Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (COEs) such as Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Compensation & Benefits
- Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to support data-driven decision-making
- Coach and mentor managers on leadership effectiveness and team development
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 8 years of progressive HR experience, including experience as an HR Business Partner
- Proven experience supporting senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, global environment
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and organizational development
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in multinational or matrix organizations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience in change management and transformation initiatives
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin (written and verbal) is preferred
- Certification such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR is a plus
