Questionnaire Instructions
The Purpose of this Position: Produce rebar shop drawings to facilitate field placement. Coordinate material orders with the customer and generate bar lists to accommodate warehouse fabrication. Major Duties
- Interpret contract drawings to produce shop drawings.
- Enter orders timely and accurately to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate ordering of material with customer to meet construction projects.
- Assure that standard operating procedures are used regarding project management and project files.
- Initiate phone calls to customers and field contacts regarding assigned projects.
- High school diploma or GED required. (Strong math & analytical skills)
- Knowledge of (CAD) and exposure to all phases of processes.
- The ability to work autonomously and in a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for both internal and external customers.
- Problem analysis and problem resolution skills.
- College degree and previous detailing experience preferred.
