Commercial Insurance Account Manager

Position Summary

Farris Insurance is seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager to support our Producers and provide exceptional service to our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining the integrity and professionalism of our agency.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Producer Support

• Assist Producers in servicing their accounts and maintaining client relationships.
• Develop and maintain rapport with clients, providing support and assistance as needed.
• Answer client questions and process service requests promptly and accurately.
• Help clients creatively resolve any issues related to their policies or service.

Policy Management

• Conduct policy reviews and make coverage recommendations.
• Order and process new business, renewals, and endorsements.
• Update client systems with any coverage or endorsement changes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files in accordance with agency standards.

Documentation & Communication

• Assist with proposals and client presentations.
• Document and communicate actions, updates, and irregularities to ensure team continuity.
• Honor client privacy and confidentiality regarding accounts and personal information.

Agency Standards

• Be familiar with and adhere to agency guidelines, procedures, and processes.
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned to support agency operations.

Qualifications

Education & Licensing

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Arkansas Property & Casualty License required.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of commercial insurance experience.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related programs.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and telephone skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks independently.
• Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.
