Overview
We are seeking a skilled Builder to join our team, responsible for a variety of construction and restoration tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry and construction, demonstrating proficiency in both residential and commercial projects. This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented, able to work independently or as part of a team, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Duties
- Execute construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to blueprints and specifications.
- Perform frame carpentry, trim carpentry, and cabinet installation with precision.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks including concrete forming, plastering, and roofing.
- Conduct thorough restoration work including water damage restoration, mold remediation, and fixture installation.
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate project execution.
- Engage in heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks as required on the job site.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining safety standards.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills in masonry, plumbing, electrical work, flooring installation, tile laying, and more.
Skills
- Proficiency in construction estimating and project planning.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques including woodworking, caulking, and siding installation.
- Experience with metal stud framing and CNC operations is a plus.
- Familiarity with the restoration industry is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform assembly tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
