We’re Hiring a Forklift Mechanic – Not a Forklift Driver!
Are you a hands-on problem solver who loves keeping equipment running at its best? We’re looking for a skilled Forklift Mechanic to join our team. Instead of driving forklifts, you’ll be the expert who keeps them in top working condition while also handling general facility maintenance.
This is a great opportunity for experienced mechanics, maintenance technicians, or anyone with strong equipment repair skills who’s ready to grow with a dependable company.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair forklifts and other material handling equipment (no forklift driving required).
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical (AC/DC) systems.
- Maintain and repair dock doors, dock levelers, and related facility equipment.
- Complete service logs and daily reports.
- Communicate part and inventory needs to the Operations Manager.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- 2 years of experience as a forklift mechanic, industrial maintenance technician, or similar role.
- Strong working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus!
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
- HVAC troubleshooting
- Welding or fabrication
- Carpentry, painting, or light construction
- Experience with CMMS or digital work order systems
