Print Production Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a Production Assistant to join our creative digital print production team. In this role, you will be an essential part of the production process, supporting both pre-production and post-production activities across various media projects. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment, working closely with talented print operators to bring bold ideas to life.

General Responsibilities

· Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor that reflects the company’s commitment to quality, continuous improvement and respect for individuals.

· Coordinate with Production Team to prioritize jobs and, when necessary, reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates.

· Confirm and document counts on finished jobs by initialing, dating and noting discrepancies. Review issues with the previous operator or brought to the nearest Supervisor immediately.

Shipping/Receiving Operations

· Support the Shipping and Receiving team as needed

· Wrap and pack final products in containers as per required standards to best represent the company and streamline customer receiving efficiency.

· Help with loading and unloading of all delivery trucks.

· Receive and inspect external packaging of all incoming shipments. Notify delivery personnel of any apparent shipping damage and proceed accordingly. Review incoming packing lists and logs and routes to receiving inspection area.

· Identify job specific materials and tag.

Transportation Operations

· Follow daily delivery and pick-up schedule

· Remain flexible to restructure schedule as needed

· Drive vehicle to and from destinations, adhering to all traffic laws.

· Load and unload delivery goods

Production Operations

· Assist with job packaging as required

· Provide support on digital print and finishing equipment as required to help finish jobs on time.

· Perform finishing processes as required by the ticket such as banner finishing, heat bending, fabric trimming and prep

· Provide additional handling and onsite support to the Install team.

Equipment, Supplies and Maintenance

· Clean and maintain equipment and work area following maintenance procedures

· Monitor inventory of press supplies and notify the supervisor or operator when an order is needed

· Maintain knowledge of safety requirements of job, equipment and chemicals used

· Ensure all recycling, trash and scraps are disposed of nightly.

· Maintain vehicle in good working condition

· Maintain vehicle in clean and fueled readiness condition

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
