Farnsworth Group is seeking a Process Associate - Entry-Level in the below posting location. Job Activities
- Engineering design of process water, wastewater, gas and chemical systems
- Engineering calculations
- Modeling (hydraulic modeling, piping, or HVAC systems sizing, etc.)
- CAD/BIM support
- Preparation of construction documents
- Engineering support during construction, including field observation and special inspections
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or related field, required
- A solid understanding of thermodynamic, fluid flow, and mass balance principles.
- Engineering In Training (EIT) preferred.
- 0-3 years of engineering work experience. Intern experience desired, with preference for the design and construction industry.
- General semiconductor process knowledge, working with wafer facilities desired
- Experience with piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) desired
- General knowledge of Word, Excel, Acrobat, and Outlook
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office, preferred
- Ability to work on several projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Able to work in a team environment
- Attention to detail
- Encourages and supports a safety-oriented culture
- Positive work ethic
- Ability to travel 25%
- Ability to work on an active construction site for extended periods of time
