Farnsworth Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern – Summer 2026 in the below posting locations. You will have the opportunity to expand your mechanical engineering knowledge and work with a team of experienced mechanical engineers on a variety of mechanical engineering-related projects. The Mechanical team’s projects focus on commercial, educational, recreational, banking, healthcare and local & federal government facilities, both new construction and renovation work.

Salary Range: $20 - $21 per hour (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)

- Housing, relocation, and transportation assistance not available for this position.
- HVAC and Plumbing design for various projects
- Preparation of construction documents
- Construction administration
- Revit and AutoCAD software packages
- Observing construction at various job sites
- General project and office/ field support
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- Revit and/or AutoCAD experience would be beneficial
- Computer proficiency with MS Office, Excel and Word
- Strong written and oral communication skills
