OTP Counseling Aide/Therapy Aide PT

Job Summary: The Therapy aide will assist with toxicology, environmental safety, patient care related to dosing flow and other miscellaneous tasks as needed such as faxing, taking phone messages.

All job responsibilities in this position need to be in alignment with value-based health/payment. It is the responsibility of this position to know and understand the specific implications of VBH/VBP on day-to-day duties on the job.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned)

• Unobserved toxicology, observed toxicology as needed with same sexed patients
• Help maintain patient/staff safety. This includes through observation of the treatment environment. This includes patient areas of the building and in the parking lot.
• Facilitate patient medication flow
• Assist Engagement Staff with coverage when applicable
• Complete any other task for support as needed

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Prior work experience in substance abuse preferred.

Ability to satisfactorily complete required pre-employment background screenings
