Duties

• Diagnose and repair refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and other restaurant appliances using schematics and technical manuals
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on cold storage and hot food preparation equipment to prevent breakdowns
• Install new equipment, including assembly of components and electrical connections in commercial kitchen environments
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues efficiently to minimize downtime
• Use field service techniques to deliver prompt repairs at client locations, often involving box trucks or service vans
• Interpret schematics and technical diagrams to identify faults accurately
• Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols

Requirements

• Proven experience as a service technician specializing in appliance repair, refrigeration, HVAC or related fields
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals
• Hands-on experience with electrical systems, electrical troubleshooting skills preferred
• Delivery driver experience is advantageous for timely on-site repairs
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems, HVAC components, and commercial kitchen equipment
• Ability to work independently in the field while maintaining excellent customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles is a plus

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
