Key Responsibilities
- Provide academic leadership and oversight of K-12 and adult education programs (ESL, CTE, ABE, ASE, high school diploma).
- Lead curriculum development, instructional strategies, and faculty professional development.
- Oversee compliance with state, federal, and charter requirements.
- Supervise and coach instructional staff to ensure excellence and accountability.
- Monitor student enrollment, retention, and performance outcomes.
- Implement data-driven assessments and continuous improvement practices.
- Manage program budgets, grants, and resources effectively.
- Represent EPIC in community forums, partnerships, and workforce development initiatives.
- Expertise in curriculum development and instructional frameworks.
- Deep knowledge of California Education Code, WASC standards, and charter school compliance.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication (oral and written).
- High emotional intelligence and cultural competency.
- Commitment to equity in education.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desirable.
- Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or Curriculum & Instruction.
- Valid California Administrative Services Credential or equivalent instructional leadership experience.
- 5 years of teaching and instructional leadership experience (lead teacher or TOSA preferred).
- Demonstrated success in academic program management, teacher support, and curriculum oversight.
- Valid California Driver’s License.
- Office and school site settings with frequent interaction with staff, students, and community partners.
- Travel up to 50% between regional sites and events.
