We are expanding our team! FarmVet is seeking a Full-Time Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) for an immediate opening at our veterinary pharmacy in Wellington, FL. This position offers an excellent opportunity for work/life balance, with a consistent schedule. Hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.
This is a fast-paced role within a rapidly growing company, focused primarily in our non-sterile compounding lab. We do not handle controlled substances or insurance billing, making this an ideal position for technicians seeking a specialized and rewarding pharmacy environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare non-sterile compounded medications
- Accurately measure, mix, label, and package compounded products
- Pull medications, label, and pack orders for shipment
- Assist with shipping preparation and order fulfillment
- Receive, unpack, and stock incoming pharmaceutical inventory
- Maintain a clean and organized compounding and pharmacy environment
- Follow all regulatory requirements and safety protocols
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- *MUST be a registered Pharmacy Technician within the state of Florida!*
- Compounding experience preferred (training available for the right candidate)
- Highly detail-oriented and committed to accuracy
- Energetic, hardworking, and has a positive, team-first attitude
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
