Who are we?
Farmsteads of New England is a unique Farm designed to support individuals diagnosed with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, as well as individuals diagnosed with Acquired Brain Disorders. We provide support, care, and lifelong memories.
What will I do?
As a Program Director, you will oversee the support and services for the individuals we care for and the team members that bring their dreams to life. You will work closely with our families and team members to bring our mission to life. You will provide oversight to 110 staff, 8 Program Managers and support to 32 individuals.
Responsibilities

- Provide leadership while executing the mission, vision and goals of Farmsteads of New England.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all Area Agencies.
- Directly responsible for site specific referrals, program acceptance, budget development, crisis funding requests, budget enhancements, program discharge, and suspension.
- Coordinate certification and licensure applications, renewals, and other actions with the Director of Compliance and Licensure.
- Ensure each Team Member knowledgeable and capable of understanding the value of the services they provide, the appliable rules and regulations of the position they hold and has a clear grasp of the policy and procedures of the organization.
- Ensure program operations are efficiently operating within budgetary requirements in compliance with the Individual Service Agreement and applicable rules, regulations and laws.
- Coordinate with the Human Resources Coordinator with the hiring, orientation, training and oversight of Direct Support Professionals, Shift-leaders, House Managers and Program Managers.
- Ensure each Team member are properly trained on each applicable behavior plan, service agreement, Individual-specific need, and risk management plan.
- Coordinate and collaborate effectively with internal and external clinical/behavioral/medical support services.
- Work with each interdisciplinary team to help Develop measurable and achievable day services goals for individuals who are served on site.
- Provide weekly supervision to House and Program Managers that assess the quality of services, adherence to policy and procedures, team member morale, quality of life and enjoyment of individuals served, and profit/loss of operations assigned.
- In collaboration with Director of Compliance and Licensure assist in the prepare and maintain organized clinical records in compliance with State Regulations and Certification Requirements.
- Fulfill any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- This is a hands on position to be filled by a person who will not only "Manage" the services but will jump-in when necessary.
