Short Order Cook

Farmstead Living of Moorhead is looking for a quick and organized short order cook who can handle all aspects of food preparation within a Senior Living Community. The short order cook's responsibilities include keeping food preparation areas clean, taking orders, grilling, cooking, frying foods, and stocking kitchen and food supplies.

Short Order Cook Responsibilities:

• Taking resident food orders and preparing the food to their specifications.
• Grilling, cooking, and frying foods.
• Grilling and garnishing hamburgers and other meats.
• Performing simple food preparation tasks, such as slicing up meats and vegetables.
• Stocking shelves
• Cleaning food preparation equipment and areas.

Short Order Cook Requirements:

• Experience using fryers and flat tops.
• Experience in restaurant or café setting helpful.
• Knowledge of food preparation and sanitation techniques.
• The ability to multi-task and work quickly and efficiently.
• Strong communication, teamworking, and customer service skills.
