Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- A maintenance associate is responsible for the general upkeep, repair, and preservation of a facility's physical structure, equipment, and grounds.
- Core Responsibilities
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections of machines, building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical), and safety equipment like fire extinguishers to prevent breakdowns.
- Repairs & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix issues with fixtures, furniture, or specialized production equipment using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Facility Upkeep: Perform general tasks such as painting, minor carpentry, floor care (waxing/buffing), and window cleaning.
- Grounds Maintenance: Handle exterior duties including lawn mowing, snow removal, and parking lot debris cleanup.
- Inventory & Documentation: Track work orders, log activities, and maintain a supply of cleaning or repair materials.
