- Oversee corporate accounting functions such as general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, cost accounting, and account analysis to maintain precise financial records.
- Manage budgeting processes, financial forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives to support organizational growth and operational efficiency.
- Conduct risk analysis and implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial exposure across all departments.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements related to governmental accounting standards, ASC 606 revenue recognition rules, and other relevant regulations.
- Supervise treasury management activities including cash flow analysis, investment management, and cost control measures to optimize liquidity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business development efforts, including investment evaluation, cost management strategies, and financial concept application for new projects or initiatives.
- Utilize advanced financial software tools for accurate bookkeeping, balance sheet reconciliation, account reconciliation, and financial report writing.
- Lead audits by internal teams or external agencies to verify adherence to legal standards and organizational policies.
- Provide leadership in fostering a culture of continuous improvement in financial processes while mentoring junior finance staff.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar senior finance role within diverse sectors such as non-profit organizations or governmental agencies.
- Extensive knowledge of IAS (International Accounting Standards), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and technical accounting practices including ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
- Demonstrated expertise in corporate finance functions such as strategic planning, investment management, risk analysis, cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and fiscal management.
- Strong background in financial analysis, report interpretation, and writing comprehensive financial reports for executive leadership or board review.
- Hands-on experience with financial software systems used for general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, cash flow analysis, and compliance management.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to guide teams through complex financial processes while maintaining high standards of accuracy and integrity.
