This position requires strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of DENTAL terminology, and proficiency in Dentrix. The Treatment Coordinator will work closely with dental providers and patients to facilitate smooth operations within the clinic.
Duties
- Coordinate patient treatment plans and ensure timely follow-up on care.
- Manage DENTAL billing processes, including insurance verification and collections.
- Utilize Dentrix for documentation and patient records.
- Review documentation for compliance with HIPAA regulations and coding accuracy (ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT coding).
- Provide administrative support including scheduling appointments, managing front desk operations, and handling multi-line phone systems.
- Maintain accurate DENTAL records and ensure proper filing of documents.
- Assist with intake processes and provide clerical support as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment options and financial responsibilities.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to streamline office management tasks.
Requirements
- Experience in a dental office setting is preferred; clinic experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in dental coding and billing practices; familiarity with regulations is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of DENTAL terminology and health information management.
