Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and food service personnel, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment
• Oversee food production processes, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and are prepared efficiently
• Manage inventory control and food handling procedures to minimize waste and optimize resources
• Plan menus that align with dietary requirements, seasonal ingredients, and customer preferences, including fine dining options and catering services
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all kitchen operations
• Coordinate shift management, ensuring smooth workflow during busy periods and proper staffing levels
• Oversee banquet and catering events, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality meals in line with client expectations

Requirements

• Proven experience in fine dining environments with strong culinary skills and leadership capabilities
• Demonstrated supervising experience within a busy kitchen or hospitality setting
• Extensive knowledge of food production, menu planning, and food service management principles
• Familiarity with inventory management, inventory control, and cost-effective food handling practices
• Hands-on experience with kitchen management systems and food safety protocols
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality
• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively

Preferred qualifications include banquet experience, dietary department familiarity, restaurant management background, catering expertise, hospitality industry knowledge, cooking proficiency across various cuisines, and bartending skills. Experience in managing large-scale events or restaurant operations will be highly valued.
