Production Glazer and Decorator

efficiently in a fast-paced
production environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Surface Decoration
- Paint ceramic pieces during greenware and bisque stages with precision
- Apply colored slips, underglazes, and wax resist consistently and
- Follow established design templates and repeat patterns accurately
- Handle delicate greenware carefully to avoid damage
- Touch up or clean surfaces before firing
- Apply decals, stencils, or textural embellishments when applicable
- Glazing & Production Support
- Assist in glazing tasks including dip glazing & wiping
- Wax bottoms and prepare bisqueware for glazing
- Mix or replenish glazes, slips, and underglazes as needed
- Track and record decorated and glazed inventory
- Studio Maintenance & Organization
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation
- Clean tools, brushes, containers, and glaze equipment after use
- Help organize and restock materials, tools, and studio supplies
- Contribute to general studio upkeep, including mopping, wiping down
and managing dust
- Support a team environment and collaborate to meet daily and weekly
goals
Requirements
- Experience in ceramics, pottery painting, or glaze work strongly
- Familiarity with greenware, bisque ware, slips, underglazes, wax
techniques
- Strong hand-eye coordination and high attention to detail
- Able to perform consistent, high-quality work in a repetitive
- Comfortable with physical tasks including sitting, standing, bending,
