Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and slicers.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment to adhere to food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Handle food with proper techniques to prevent cross-contamination and ensure freshness.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and delivery times.
• Follow safety protocols during food handling, cooking, and cleaning processes to uphold a safe working environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in a food service or restaurant setting is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with kitchen operations
• Proven skills in food preparation, knife handling, slicing techniques
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in meal preparation.
• Familiarity with catering processes and large-scale food production is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen staff and team members.
