Part Time Retail Associate

Farmers’ Storehouse is seeking a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Part-Time Retail Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has an interest in organic food, and values high-quality ingredients—especially grain and flour. Position Overview

The Retail Associate is responsible for creating a welcoming in-store experience, assisting customers with product knowledge, and supporting daily retail operations. This position plays an important role in sharing the values and mission of Farmers’ Storehouse with our community.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, warm, and attentive customer service
• Assist customers with product selection and clearly explain directions, uses, and recommendations
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting retail space (light cleaning duties included)
• Stock shelves and assist with product organization
• Work collaboratively with the retail team and follow direction from leadership
• Lift and move products weighing up to 30 lbs as needed

Qualifications

• A positive, welcoming attitude and strong communication skills
• Basic understanding of organic food, or a genuine interest in learning
• Some home baking experience preferred
• Willingness to learn about the importance of organic grain and flour
• Ability to take direction well and work effectively as part of a team
• Comfortable engaging with customers and explaining products clearly
• Physically able to lift up to 30 lbs
• Prior customer of Farmers’ Storehouse is a plus
