Description:
Farmers State Bank is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Full-time Universal Banker that will work in the Clear Lake or Mason City branch. Duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Accepts checks and cash for deposits to accounts, verifies amounts, examines checks for proper endorsement, and enters deposits into system
- Cashes checks and processes withdrawals
- Processes loan payments
- Balance a cash drawer with accuracy
- Identifies fraudulent activity
- Assists with night depository and vault duties
- Effectively cross-sells bank services
- May open accounts as needed
- Maintains a well-developed, current, working knowledge of the complete bank line of products and services
- Assists with special projects and duties as assigned
Requirements for this position include the following:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Available to work Monday through Friday during regular bank hours, with rotating Saturday mornings
- Must be available to float between different offices as needed
- Must be dependable and able to work the required shifts
- Maintain professional appearance and behavior at all times
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work with all types of customers
