What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Branch Mgr position at Farmers National Bank?
POSITION SUMMARY: Directs and coordinates activities of branch employees to have high levels of employee engagement, customer loyalty, and operational excellence. The Retail Branch Manager will lead the team to meet its branch goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Ensures a competent, motivated staff through training, counseling, supervision, coaching and review of all branch Retail Banking employees.
2. The Retail Branch Manager will have consumer lending activity responsibilities if no lender is housed at the branch.
3. Will lead the team to maximize the customer experience in the Branch.
4. Opens and closes the branch; maintains and stays abreast of security policies.
5. Maintains knowledge of and enforces awareness of all retail related policies and procedures.
6. Reviews and approves all retail related reports for the branch.
7. Responsible for scheduling appropriate staffing levels and monitoring overtime.
8. Participates in activities for generating new business such as special events as requested by the Market Manager.
9. Handles customer inquiries and complaints related to retail banking.
10. Perform the duties of Customer Service Representative and Teller as necessary.
11. Evaluates performance of all Retail Banking employees through performance
12. reviews on a quarterly and annual basis. Assists Head Teller in Teller reviews.
13. Manages all CSR personnel and Head Teller. Works with the Head Teller in
developing Teller staff.
14. Responds to all Retail Banking Audit, BSA and compliance requests or reports.
15. Grows market share by working with Market Manager and/or conducting outside business calls.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
2. Performs Job Duties in Accordance with all appropriate laws and regulations to include BSA.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to speak English and hear. The employee is often required to use their hands and fingers to handle customer transactions. The employee spends the majority of the day sitting at a desk (95%). Occasionally it is required for the employee to bend, kneel or crouch (2% of day), walk (3% of day). The employee may be required to lift up to 5 pounds to perform their job.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
1. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English well.
2. Several years of experience as a Teller/CSR in a financial institution.
3. Good knowledge of bank products and services.
4. Classes covering general banking, deposit documentation, compliance, and some supervisory training preferred.
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Ability to use Office 365.
Monday through Thursday 8:00am to 5:15pm, Friday 8:00am to 6:15pm.
Salary : $38,332 - $61,331
