Key Responsibilities
- Generate New Business: Actively prospect and generate new commercial lines business through networking, referrals, and cold calling.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and expand relationships with current clients, providing exceptional customer service and identifying opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling.
- Needs Assessment: Evaluate clients' insurance and risk management needs and propose suitable coverage options.
- Sales and Presentations: Prepare and present proposals to prospective and existing clients, showcasing the value of our products and services.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a consistently strong pipeline of new business prospects using our CRM system.
- Market Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and product knowledge to provide expert advice to clients.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the account management team to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Experience: Proven track record of success in commercial insurance sales. Experience in a related B2B sales role will also be considered.
- Licensing: Must possess a valid Property & Casualty (P&C) license.
- Education: A bachelor's degree in a business-related field is preferred, but equivalent experience is also acceptable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
