We are seeking a compassionate, customer-focused Insurance Policy Services Associate to join our growing team. In this role, you will primarily assist existing policyholders by managing policy renewals, resolving non-payment issues, collecting required documentation, and helping customers maintain continuous insurance coverage. Your day will be spent speaking with customers over the phone, providing support while guiding them through policy options and helping them understand their policies. Responsibilities
- Contact existing policyholders regarding upcoming policy renewals.
- Proactively contact policyholders regarding payment accounts to help maintain continuous coverage.
- Obtain required documents and signatures needed to complete policy transactions.
- Educate customers on policy options, coverage, billing, and payment solutions.
- Retain existing business by identifying customer needs and providing appropriate solutions.
- Build trust and rapport through compassionate, professional, and solution-oriented conversations.
- Accurately document customer interactions and update account information in agency management systems.
- Process policy changes, renewals, and related service requests.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent customer service and adequate workflow coverage.
- Meet or exceed individual production and retention goals while maintaining high-quality customer interactions.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, carrier guidelines, and state insurance regulations.
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required.
- Minimum of one year of insurance industry experience.
- Previous experience in customer service, account management, retention, or insurance servicing preferred.
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Demonstrated ability to show empathy and professionalism during difficult customer conversations.
- Comfortable spending the majority of the workday on the telephone.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail when processing documentation and policy updates.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with computer systems and CRM or agency management software.
- Self-motivated with a proven ability to meet or exceed production goals.
